Screening for Down’s syndrome (Trisomy 21): Specialist ultrasound (nuchal fold measurement) and blood tests.

Early ultrasound to check for some major anomalities like spina bifida, gender identification possible.

Extensive ultrasound of the baby’s development, organs and especially the heart (fetal echocardiography).
