Johanna Renz BA (Hons) MA
Managing Partner
Johanna holds management qualifications from
the University of Cambridge (with distinction), the Sunderland
University and the Kensington Consultation Centre. On the basis of her research, the Royal Borough of
Kingston upon Thames, including it's Chief Executive was awarded twice
at the DTI’s 11th British Diversity Awards (2007). Johanna spent most of her working career in hospital administration and management and is still working part-time within the NHS. She is a founding member of Richmond Practice.
Shirley Greyling BCom (Hons) Business Management
Secretary
Shirley holds degrees from the University of the Free State Bloemfontein, South Africa, both in marketing and business management. In a competition to write a business plan for the Lagoon Beach Hotel, Cape Town, Shirley won first prize. She is fluent in Afrikaans and English and loves traveling and meeting people from different backgrounds. Shirley has a special interest in accounts and marketing. Working in the UK is a stepping stone to gain knowledge of international markets and systems to progress her career opportunities.
Prasanthi (Prash) Balakrishnan MFA
Secretary
Prash qualified as a doctors' assistant (Medizinische Fachangestellte) after a three year apprenticeship in Goettingen, Germany. This means she is clinically trained to assist our doctors. She moved to London to be with her fiance/husband and loves sports, especially swimming and volleyball. Prash speaks English, German, Tamil and a little French. Her wish is to study medicine one day and she is also interested in business and management.
Susan McIntosh
Secretary
Susan’s first qualification, HNC Applied Biology with Biochemistry in 1973, led to a career in medical research into rheumatoid arthritis and team management. When her children arrived she took a 10 year break from the workplace. Next she spent 18 years in local government, initially in administration, then graphic design and then specializing in communications and marketing. Susan’s passion is developing her business in natural healthcare products.
Sally Roberts
Secretary
Sally has completed four years of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery studies at the University of Western Australia. This has given her practical experience in general medicine, surgery, psychiatry, and geriatric medicine. She takes a keen interest in the study of medicine and enjoys learning and developing her skills in this area. Sally also enjoys travelling and immersing herself in different cultures and is in the UK to pursue her personal and cultural development. She plans to return to university in 2011 to qualify as a junior doctor in 2012. Sally is English speaking with a basic knowledge of Italian.
Veena Surendrakumar
Secretary
Veena is in her fifth year at Imperial College London studying medicine and works part time at the practice on Saturdays. During previous summers she has worked as a medical secretary in the NHS for both consultants and therapists. Her interests include reading and spending time with friends. She is currently secretary for her university's Medical Education Society and has also previously been club captain for the women’s cricket team. Veena plans to graduate from medical school in two years time and become a practising doctor.
